I'm still new to blogging, so I'm really not sure what the laws of normality say regarding how many times per day one is allowed to post. But... to hell with the laws of normality. This is my blog.
Today was... okay, I guess. My mother, father and I went to a nearby museum dedicated to former president Lyndon B. Johnson. There, we took a bus-tour where we got to see much of his ranch which is, surprisingly, still in profitable use.
After the tour, we headed into Fredericksburg where we grabbed some Mr. Gatti's -- by this time it was like after three and, starved as I was, I ate more than I could handle and almost threw up. After we ate, we just sort of drove around town for a little bit and then went to some random flea market that was closing just as we got there. We didn't really get much done.
But, on that note, I have a question to raise. What the hell is it with parents and flea markets? My parents always feel the need to go to every one they see and, let's face it -- there's never anything but crap. And they admit it. Yet, still... they always have to go look and see what kind of crap there is. I cannot remember a single time one of my parents actually bought anything of use from a flea market. It's really pathetic. Is this normal behavior, or are my parents just freaks?
I get to go home tomorrow, so I'm pretty excited about that. I've already missed too many fun activities with my friends, and I'm afraid they'll think life is more fun without Ethan. I know I'm paranoid and my friends would never do that, I just... can't help but wonder, I guess.
Even so, we'll only be home for a matter of hours. We plan on leaving the park we're currently staying at by eleven in the morning, and I estimate it will take us around five or six hours to get home due to my father's... detours. Then we leave again the next day -- probably around noon or so -- for a state park near Rockport that I've been to more times than I care to count.
Well, it's already 10:40, so I guess I'll go ahead and wrap this up. I'm going to have to get to sleep early if I want to be ready by 11:00.
So, on that note... Goodnight, everyone.
